Today’s bento was a pretty quickly made one, but I’m really pleased with how it looks! I decided to time this bento and it took me a total of eleven and a half minutes after pulling out all the ingredients, to make.
This bento features three Gardein Chick’n Strips topped with Sriracha sauce, propped up against a chunk of cauliflower. In the Monbento cup are broccoli and carrot slices, and in the pink silicone cup are a couple of butterfly shaped pineapple slices(I cut up the whole pineapple Sunday, so it saved me some time there). As the starch of the bento, I’m rocking mashed potatoes with a couple of hefty salted tomato slices.
I’m thinking, maybe next time instead of buying a whole pineapple, I might just buy a can of the rings. The slices will be thinner and I can use my cutesy cutters on it. What do you think?
