Vegan Onigirazu

IMG_0616

Thank’s to Dosirakbento’s post, I decided to try to make onigirazu, which is basically an unshaped onigiri. Anyway, I didn’t bother with the shape, I just eyeballed making it into a square and then put everything else on it. Granted, my pictures aren’t as pretty, but mine are at least vegan. I really want to get a small photography setup for bentos, maybe once I sell my 3D printer I can set one up there.

Anyway, also in this bento are peas, an orange slice and a Gardein Meatless Meatball. In the onigirazu are Gardein Chick’n Strips and Asparagus.

  1. hi, I am glad that you managed to make some yourself and thanks for the link back to me.
The examples I saw on internet were all made “freehand”, I just found it easier myself to use the food mold as it helped me to line up my beans… :-)
    Have a good weekend!
